We live in a fifth wheel with a Golden Retriever and a short haired mutt. We had 2 other brand handhelds with the inferior vacuum operated brushes and they invariably quit after a couple of weeks (and did a mediocre job of cleaning). This direct drive brush makes quick and easy work of dog hair and anything else on the rugs. We have to clean out the brushes once a week for the really long dog hair, but it still does a great job. We would recommend this to anyone with an RV.
